Alzheimer's Disease - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

It is not known yet what exactly triggers off the weakening of the brain cells. There are many factors which lead the growth of Alzheimer's disease.

Causes of Alzheimer's disease:

Abortion Clinic

The chief factor in the growth of Alzheimer's disease is age of the sufferer. The tendency of the growth of the disease is more once you cross the age of 65 and adds up every five years after 65 years of age. But this condition is not faced by older people alone. Alzheimer's disease is genetic, but people even without a family history of Alzheimer's also face this, but it is not as common as the ones with a genetic history.

In case of inherited Alzheimer's the indications start showing earlier like starting from the age of 35 to 60 years of age. The tendency of developing Alzheimer's is higher in case of the people suffering from Down's syndrome. This is due to the presence of an additional copy of the 'chromosome 21', in which a protein which is also present in the brain of the people suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

It is proven that people who have had head injuries or bad whiplashes are more prone to Alzheimer's disease. It is also said that aluminium also causes Alzheimer's disease.

Symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease:

Diagnosis of Alzheimer's is quite difficult as the indications are very analogous to many other conditions. None of the cases of Alzheimer's are the same as every individual reacts differently to the condition. There are three stages of Alzheimer's disease: mild, moderate and severe. In case of mild Alzheimer's disease the symptoms would be forgetfulness, weak memory, getting confused, and difficulty in speech and mood swings.

This all occurs as a result of slow loss of the functioning of the brain. In case of moderate Alzheimer's disease the symptoms are: delusions, repetitive behaviour, hallucinations, incontinence, imagining things which you haven't done and disturbance in sleep. This person would even have problems in keeping a track of recent happening. A problem with speech and language can initiate at this is stage. This in turn would build frustrations and depression resulting in mood swings.

In case of severe Alzheimer's the sufferer is highly disoriented and confused. At this stage the person tends to experience delusions and hallucinations. The delusions and hallucinations are worse in the night as the sufferer tends to get violent, suspicious and demanding with people around him.

The symptoms in case of severe Alzheimer's are: loss in weight and appetite, difficulty in swallowing, loss of long and short term memory, highly prone to infection and difficulty in moving about. This is the stage when the sufferer needs to be completely taken care of as there can barely do anything by them.

Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease:

There is no cure of Alzheimer's disease found as yet. But there is medication available which would aid in delaying the growth of the disease. These medications help by averting a chemical breakdown in the brain. As a result the weakening of the brain also slows down.

Trichomonas - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Trichomoniasis is one of the sexually transmitted infections (or sexually transmitted diseases, STD) caused by a microscopic parasite, a protozoa. Usually it is found in urethral tissues and vagina. Although women are likely to be infected men can be infected too. So let's try to understand that
sexual transmitted disease.

Causes

Abortion Clinic

This disease is the most widespread curable sexual infection. The trichomonad has an average size of 15 mm which cannot be seen by naked eye and the parasites are reproduced every 8-12 hours. The figures show that men have more resistance to this parasite as only 14%-60% of men and 67%-100% of women with infected partners have the parasite.

It is not clear why women have more chance of getting infected than men. One possibility could be that the zinc and some substances that are harmful to trichomonads exist in the prostatic fluid.

Trichomoniasis Symptoms

Usually symptoms in men are milder than women, and in women it usually occurs in 1-4 weeks of the initial infection. As mentioned above infected men do not have any symptoms this they do not visit the doctor to receive medical treatments. To prevent re infection of the woman the sexual partner should be treated and evaluated as well.

The symptoms include:

Women

·Vaginal discharge
·Vaginal itching
·Itchy, smelly, and typically foamy or frothy discharge
·Yellow or green- gray discharge
·Pain during urination
·One-third of women who are infected do not have symptoms.

Men

·The majority do not have any symptoms
·Urethral discharge
·Pain during urination
·swelling and pain in scrotum -from epididymitis

Trichomoniasis Treatment

Medical Treatment

The treatment is metronidazole "Flagyl" which incase of pregnancy should not be taken during first trimester. It should be kept in mind not to take the medicine and drink alcohol same time, as the combination can cause vomiting and abdominal pain

Self-Care at Home

Apart from medical treatments there are home treatments which should not be substitute and preferred to the medical treatment. However always keep in mind that it is always better to consult your doctor at first!

·Having a warm bath and a natural douche may help increase the parasite killing activity. Best to add juice of a lemon to the douche :Vinegar douche - vinegar, 1 tea spoon, warm water 1 quart.

·Aromatherapy: bergamot oil -Citrus aurantium var bergamia, helps dry up the irritating discharge. You can add it to bath water or use it in douches.

Metronidazole (Flagyl)

·A high dosage can be very effective but may increase the side effects like vomiting and nausea.

·An alternative is to take pills two times a day for a week.

(Gyne-Lotrimin, Mycelex-7)

In case of having symptoms and pregnancy:

·Clotrimazole is a vaginal Medicine and should be inserted for two weeks at night.

·It decreases the symptoms, with a cure rate of only 20%.

Partners

·The man will have to take either a large dose or be treated for a week.

·Keep in mind that the doctor might not write a prescription unless evaluating her/or him first.

Colitis: Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Colitis has become a common disease. It is one of those diseases which involve digestion problems. This disease involves a swelling of the intestine. Colitis may not be severe but it can be chronic too. The cause of this disease can also be known as the crohn's disease which is also a bloating of the digestive section from the anus to the mouth.

There are many causes for colitis. These causes decide how the symptoms of colitis are going to happen. Many bacteria normally reside in the colon; they live in harmony with the body and cause no symptoms or problems. The symptoms can include weight loss, bleeding in stools, loss of hunger and pain in the abdomen. The existence of this disease can be revealed through colonoscopy which is the test conducted for the diagnosis of this ailment. The diagnosis can be done by getting the medical past of the patient. Even some kind of physical exams like stool culture can make the doctors know about the existence of colitis.

Abortion Clinic

X-rays and tomography are also done to find out about this ailment. There are various versions of this ailment. The fulminating colitis has different kinds of symptoms which include fever, diarrhea and anemia. Fulminant colitis is any colitis that becomes worse rapidly. This kind of colitis needs to be treated immediately. On the initial treatment no matter what is the cause of colitis the main goal is to rehydrate the patient and make sure to control the pain. People who have developed this kind of colitis can only be cured through surgery. In fact, this kind of colitis can also affect animals like horses. When it affects them, they can die almost within a day. Another kind of colitis is also quite dangerous. It's known by the name of spastic colitis.

This version has similar symptoms as the irritable bowel syndrome. People can take some simple steps to improve their condition apart from consulting a doctor. Such simple steps include daily light exercises. They should also refrain from taking oily foods which can cause inflammation. The consumption of water should be an important part of the diet. The water should be clean and filtered. Drinking more water is necessary because such colitis is accompanied with abdominal pain which can be reduced by taking more water. Consuming holistic supplements is also beneficial. Getting acupuncture treatments can also help.

Infertility in Women - What Causes Infertility in Women and What Are the Solutions?

'Infertility in women' refers to the condition in which a woman is not able to conceive or contribute in the conception of a child due to some health issues. In some cases of infertility, a woman may conceive, but might not be able to carry a child until its birth.

Causes of Infertility

Abortion Clinic

There are numerous causes of infertility in women, all of which have been studied thoroughly by the experts and researchers. Heredity is one of the very common possibilities. Some of the typical causes of infertility in women are consumption of drugs and alcohol, smoking, age, diet, and sexually transmitted diseases.

The most common cause of infertility in women is some kind of a disorder in the ovulation process. Ovulation is a very complex process, which most of us fail to understand. It not only refers to the generation of a 'female egg cell', but also includes the 'preparation for fertilization' in the reproductive system of women. An irregularity in the menstrual cycle is a common indication of an existing problem in the ovulation.

Some other causes of infertility in women linked with ovulation are increased amount of prolactin, tubal scarring, cysts in the ovaries, weight loss, excessive exercise, disorders in the adrenal gland and thyroid gland, obesity and psychological stress or strain.

Solutions to 'infertility in women'

Infertility is quite a serious disorder and needs to be treated at some point or the other. There are several methods of treating this condition. However, which one you should opt for depends on the cause of its occurrence and the level of severity of the condition. The three main and most effective kinds of infertility treatments and solutions have been detailed below:

Medicinal Treatments - The intake of certain medicines has proved to solve the cases of infertility. 'Clomifene' is a medicine used to persuade ovulation in those women who don't ovulate at all or even regularly. 'Metformin' is used when clomifene does not react on the body. This is usually prescribed to women who are afflicted by the condition of PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). 'Gonadotrophins' is that ingredient of a medicine which helps in stimulating ovulation. These medicines must be taken only when prescribed by the doctor.

Surgical Processes - Doctors opt for the surgical processes when some part/s in the ovulation process needs to be repaired or improved. The usual surgical processes that are undergone in the cases of infertility are; 'Fallopian tube Surgery' - done to remove the blockages or scarring in the in the fallopian tube, and 'Laparoscopic surgery' - done to take samples of the internal organs and perform operations or tests on them.

Assisted conception - Intrauterine insemination (IUI) - The procedure in which sperms are placed in the womb using a plastic tube, In vitro fertilization (IVF) - medication taken to persuade the ovaries to produce additional eggs, egg donation and Blastocyst transfer are the most effective and most commonly adopted methods of assisted conception in the condition of infertility in women.

Anemia - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Anemia, though sounds a simple disease to have, could actually get fatal. It is therefore extremely important to identify anemic cases so that proper treatment can be done on time.

Anemia is a case where the blood of the patient lacks the normal level of RBC cells in it. It could also be caused due to a deficiency in iron which lowers the hemoglobin level of the RBC cells. Since these cells are the carriers of oxygen in the body, lack of RBCs or weak RBCs can actually lead to starvation of the whole body from oxygen.

Abortion Clinic

Anemia can be traced to a number of causes and several different types. However, the most important and persistent cause of the disease remains the intake of an unbalanced diet that lacks in iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin C that helps the body to absorb iron.

Normocytic anemia is caused when the hemoglobin level of the body falls, without any change in the RBC level. Such cases can offer when the body loses a large amount of blood or there is a failure in the red bone marrow or when the body is suffering from a major and chronic disease. Failure in synthesis of hemoglobin or insufficiency of iron in the body can cause Microcytic anemia. The RBCs in this case are a lot paler in color and shrink to an abnormal size.

Megalosblastic anemia occurs due to a failure of DNA synthesis with the synthesis of RNA in the patient's body restricting the division of the progenitor cells. Megaloblastic anemia and non-megaloblastic macrocytic anemia together form a group, called macrocytic anemia. Often Heinz bodies which may include some prescribed drugs could lead to RBCs in the body taking an abnormal shape and thus causing Heinz body anemia.

Symptoms of anemia, though vague can subtly be observed as the following:

-Excessive restlessness and easy tiring out of the body

-Fatigue due to insufficient oxygen supply throughout the body

-Increased pulse rate

-Difficulties in breathing

-Lack in concentration

Treatment of anemia is a lot tougher than it may seem, especially when the cause is the lack of iron in the body. The treatment should be done keeping in mind the cause of the disease. In acute cases, blood transfusion may be necessary to save an anemic patient. In some cases however, EPO can be injected in to the patient's bloodstream. In fact, EPO treatments are found to reduce the need for blood transfusion to almost 50%.

Recently, some Ayurvedic herbal treatments of anemia are also being talked about. The proponents claim that patients might get considerable relief following some simple things like:

-Having bath with cold water twice a day

-Professional massages to flush out body toxins

-Practicing deep breathing exercises for ten minutes a day

-Practicing yoga and involving oneself in vibrant exercises

However, as we all know, prevention is better than cure, you should indulge yourself to a healthy diet. Even on noticing the slightest of symptoms, consult a doctor and investigate the cause so that a proper treatment regimen can be taken on time.

Hypercoagulation (Thick Blood) - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Hyper coagulation has become a common ailment these days. Therefore it's vital to know what causes this problem. It happens due to an anomaly in the coagulation system. Such anomaly arises due to problems in the clotting factors. Blood clotting can cause serious issues. This coagulation can be caused by genetically acquired problems in clotting. This disease does not have any particular treatment, but continuous problems of this kind warrant a long term solution for coagulation.

The most prevalent symptoms of this ailment are pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The later occurs in legs and involves a lot of pain and inflammation of the limbs. The veins of the legs valves get destroyed due to heavy blood clotting which is responsible for clotting. This clot can also shift to legs. So, when blood clotting happens in lungs, it results in paucity of breath and huge pain in the chest.

Abortion Clinic

This implies a huge risk of heart attack and chances of a stroke. Now, another clotting disorder called purpura fulminans, which happens in babies, causes the destruction of tissues and bleeding in the vital organs and skin. This kind of hypercoagulation occurs due to a lack of protein C in the child. Eventually, it prevents treatment with anti coagulant drugs like warfarin. When pregnant mothers suffer from hyper coagulation it can cause miscarriage. Other complications can also result during pregnancy apart from miscarriage like still birth, and intrauterine growth prohibition.

There are various reasons behind the incidence of this ailment. The most common of them is any stoppage of the body movement after an accident. This can increase chances of blood clotting. So, the shortage of muscle activity can cause the movement of blood to stop in veins. So, anyone who is prohibited to bed rest after a surgery can get blood clotting.

Since the body parts can swell due to a decreased body supply, they can also function at lower levels. The supply of blood to the brain can also decrease which causes a stroke. There are many ways to treat this disorder. The blood clots in the arteries can be removed through surgeries. They can also be eliminated through medication like activase and tenecteplase. Now, a patient can also get cardiac catheterization so that the blood clot is opened.

Now, when the blood clots form in the deep veins of the leg they are more dangerous as compared to superficial veins, as they can be transferred to lungs. Their transfer to lungs can cause a blocked supply of oxygen to the heart which can cause death. So, its better that such clots are treated with enoxaparin through injections which can instantly thin the coagulated blood. Warfarin can also be given through pills but it takes some time for it to acquire healing levels in the body. During that time, it is given through injectable and oral versions so that the symptoms of the ailment are reduced.

Uterine Cancer - Symptoms, Causes and Treatments

Uterine Cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, which actually start in the lining of the cells in the uterus. The womb or the uterus is a vital part of the reproductive system in a woman.

Type of Uterine Cancer

Abortion Clinic

That cancer may denote various types of cancers, which occur in a woman's uterus. Uterine sarcomas, commonly known to be leiomyosarcomas are a type of uterine cancer, which occurs in the muscular layer of a uterus. Endometrial cancer is another type of uterine cancer, which originates from the cells that are located in the glands of the uterine lining or the endometrium. Cervical cancer is a different type of uterine cancer, which is known to arise from the lower portion of a uterus. It extends to the transitional zone of a woman's cervix and connecting to the upper part of her vagina.

Symptoms

A woman having uterine cancer can notice some common symptoms. However, they may differ from person to person depending upon the disease in consideration. Commons symptoms include painful or difficult urination, unusual discharge or vagina bleeding, extreme pain during the time of having sexual intercourse, a typical pelvic lump, abnormal weight loss, pain in the pelvic region and having never breast-fed. In fact, uterine cancer occurs rarely before menopause, during which a woman have regular menstrual periods.

It generally occurs during the time when the regular menstruation cycle stops. If a woman notices reappearance of bleeding at this stage of her life, she should immediately bring it to the attention of her general physician, as there may be a possibility of uterine cancer.

The most common symptom of uterine cancer is abnormal bleeding from a woman's uterus after her menopause. The bleeding may be in the form of a blood streaked, watery discharge containing more blood. In some cases, a woman may experience lower abdominal pain too.

Causes

There are different causes of uterine cancer, which have been discovered till date. Diabetes, obesity, polycystic ovaries having prolonged anovulation, nulliparity or having borne not a single child, lack of menstruation, extended usage of tamoxifen for the treatment of breast cancers and taking unopposed estrogen without progestin are some of the valid causes of uterine cancer.

Diagnosing the Disease

The cancer can be diagnosed by endometrial and endocervical sampling. Apart from these techniques, vaginal ultrasonography is also used to detect the thickness of the endometrium because increased thickness of the uterus may determine some serious cancerous change. Apart from this, the Pap test can also be an accurate way detecting uterine cancer but cannot be termed as a reliable source.

Treatment

The treatment of this cancer is performed on the basis of grade and stage of the cancer. Abdominal hysterectomy is a standard therapy, which involves in the surgical removal of the woman's uterus along with both the ovaries and fallopian tubes, washing of the abdominal cavity to determine malignant cells and the selective removal of the aortic and pelvic lymph nodes. Many doctors prefer usage of hormone therapy that removes the possibility of metastatic cancer. Again, women also opt for radiation therapy for the treatment of their uterine cancer.

Although treatment is a possibility for Uterine Cancer, still you should take immediate action after noticing the symptoms. Don't let it reach a level from where it cannot be cured!

Women's Infertility - The Causes and How They Can Be Treated

First, let's understand what is infertility?

Infertility in women refers to the inability of a woman to conceive and hence give birth to a baby.

Abortion Clinic

The chances of a woman getting pregnant are only 30% during a particular menstrual cycle. Not only that but even when the conception occurs, only 50 - 60% of the pregnancies progress pass 20th week. This inability (in fecundity) can be because of abnormalities which can cause miscarriages.

The Causes of Infertility

There are a number of medical conditions that can contribute to infertility in women. These may be due to physical incapacity, physical defects or some kind of functional faults. These disorders hamper ovulation, damage the fallopian tubes or may cause some hormonal difficulties.

Infertility can result from bad health of the woman because of some ailment. The physical defects which result in infertility can be of the reproductive organs and the genitals can be present at the time of birth or it can also be accidental, which can further lead to deformity or slumped womb, rigidity of the hymen or disintegration of the fallopian tubes.

Certain psychosomatic factors like tension, emotional stress, anxiety, mental depression, and fear can also lead to what is called as psychosomatic infertility. But such conditions are mostly temporary and they can be corrected by using psychotherapy.

Here is a list of some of the medical conditions which can cause infertility in women:

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID): The PID is one of the major reasons accounting for female fertility all over the world. The Pelvic inflammatory disease is caused due the infections which are caused by bacteria that can affect the female reproductive system.

These bacterial infections occur due to:

-Sexually transmitted diseases

-Tuberculosis of the pelvic region

-Abortions in a non-sterile environment

-Rupturing of the appendix

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is an abnormal growth of the cells normally lining the uterus, to the other areas, thereby, causing irregular bleeding and pain. These cells are mostly non cancerous.

The cysts that arise may cause infertility in many ways, such as:

-They interfere with the release of the egg from the ovaries.

-They can block the passage of the eggs in the fallopian tubes.

Uterine Fibroids

Tumors in the uterus are very common in women, who are in their 30s. These tumors are called as Uterine Fibroids. These fibroids damage the lining of the uterus which may further result in change in the position of the cervix, or blockage of the fallopian tube or distortion of the uterus shape, thereby leading to infertility.

Early Menopause

This is a very rare but unexplained reason for infertility. In some women, menstruation stops quiet early than the normal age. It is only assumed that the regular supply of eggs gets depleted.

There are certain other problems that can also lead to infertility:

-Scarring of the uterus or abdomen
-Inborn abnormalities
-Drinking, smoking, alcohol and drugs

Treatment for infertility

One of the very important formulas to treat the infertility is a healthy life style with planned sexual activity and managed emotions and stress.

For Pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis an in-depth report on the causes and the diagnosis should be done. This should be followed by the treatment by a surgery, or drugs or may be both.

To repair the blockage of the fallopian tubes, surgery can be done.

Drugs like gonadotrophins and clomiphene can be given to induce ovulation.

Techniques like intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) or vitro fertilization (IVF) can be used.

Retinal Detachment - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

The retina of eyes is attached to the tissues which lie under the eye and the separation of the two is known as retinal detachment. The common causes of this situation is the breakage of the retina or the tearing of it. The breakage of the retina may be caused by the detachment of the vitreous gel from the retina. The two their part of the eye is filled with the vitreous gel and it is this gel that covers the entire retina and if the strength of the retina is fragile, it leads to its breakage. If the blood vessels in the retina are present in the breakage, it causes bleeding of the eye. However, most of the retinal detachments that happen are not a cause of injury.

If the retina tears, it gives way to the vitreous gel to get into the back of the retina. It is this layer of accumulated gel that causes the detachment of the retina from the eye. As more and more of the gel gets accumulated and layered behind the retina, the detachment increases and in some cases the entire retina is detached. This happens when the tear is very big. The retinal detachment is mostly prominent in a single eye. It does not affect both the eyes. When such an incident happens, even the other eye is thoroughly checked for any signs of tears or breaks in the retina. This is done to safeguard the second eye so that preventive measures can be taken.

Abortion Clinic

The patient who is experiencing the symptoms of retinal detachment sees flashing lights in the initial stages. A person who has this symptom has to immediately see the eye doctor without further delay. The retina could be saved in many cases if shown on time. The effect of flashing light is caused by the loosening of the vitreous which allows the gel to get in contact with the retina. There is also the symptom where the person can visualize floaters. This is caused when the vitreous gel gets solid to even an insignificant extent. If treated earlier itself, the treatment is much more effective.

The treatment for retinal detachment is done with the help of laser therapy where the holing and tearing of the retina is treated. Another way of treatment is by freezing the retina. While the retina is frozen, even the gel freezes and it is thus prevented from layering at the back of the retina. This eventually prevents the retinal detachment in the initial stages. In other worse cases, where the retina is almost detached, a surgery is immediately performed. These eye surgeries are of three types:

Scleral buckling

Pneumatic retinopexy

Vitrectomy

The holes and tearing that is caused in the retina has to be treated as the vision of the person is blurred or in some cases partially blinded. The impairment in the vision can aggravate and cause permanent blindness if not treated immediately. Thus it is advised to always take good care of the eyes.

Women's Health - The Most Common Causes of Stress and How to Handle Them

According to Oxford Dictionary, stress can be defined as "A state of affair involving demand on physical or mental energy". This refers to a condition where normal mental and physical health of an individual is affected. When this unpleasant condition continues without a pause and changes, then 'stress condition' occurs naturally.

When stress starts playing an integral role in your life, then it results in risky mind and body disorders. In today's world, you face stress at many places. Each and everyone are under stress at some point. Pressure at work place, relationship problems, meeting deadlines and having a tension-filled life may grow stress in your mind.

Nowadays, women are more prone to stress than men are. This is mostly because the former want to show their ability to wield a man's job while simultaneously playing the role of a wife, mother and a daughter. So, she is under immense pressure and struggles to cope up with all these roles in life.

When a woman faces a lot of workload, she falls in the hands of stress, which may break her. They mostly stressed when someone notices their weak points. For example, if she is overweight then, she may get stressed and feel shame of going out. Relationship demand is another reason, why women are easily stressed. However, the thing, which should be in mind, is that it is in your hand to convert the stress. Once you realize this, you are naturally going to experience a positive energy.

Art of handling stress

-Have confidence over yourself

Women can handle stress by very simple and easy techniques. You need to understand that you have the ability to handle multi-tasks. If you are incapable of handling the pressure, then you are a wonder of nature. If you are met with heavy workload, then you have to agree it as a challenge in your work and do it instead of becoming a victim of stress.

-Without stress, life is tedious

You need to understand that without stress, life would be tedious and dull. Face stress by first recognising it and then dealing with it. When you feel nervous, stressed or angry, just take a nice bath, do some breathing exercise or take a deep breath. Even, some simple relaxing exercise can work for you.

-Share your sorrows

Convert your anger into smiles. There is an old saying that "When we share happiness to others it gets doubled. When we share our sorrows it diminishes or vanishes from out heart". So, you can just phone your sister or friend for sharing your feelings or stress you face in your life. Prioritize the work. When you are in an overwhelming situations get out of the unwanted duties. Learn to say "no" to the work, which you can't do when you are overloaded with work.

-Spare sometime for fun

And don't forget to spare sometime for fun. If you sit alone during leisure time, it may increase unhappiness. So, you should volunteer in some social activities or visit your neighbour. Avoid using drugs to reduce your stress. Just try to be good to yourself.

One thing you have to remember is the word 'Relax'. Forget about winning always. Learn how to be patient and stress will never be a problem to you.

Asthma - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Asthma is not caused due to a specific reason, but there are various aspects which lead to this state. Causative reasons which lead to asthma are surroundings, hereditary and even nutritional regime.

The common perilous aspects of the growth of asthma are:

- Exposure of the child to the smoke of tobacco, especially through the mother.
- If the weight of the child at the time of birth is low.
- In case there is a record in the family of asthma, or any other sensitive conditions called 'atopic conditions', like 'hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis or eczema'.
- The presence of 'bronchiolitis' in childhood, and growth of any other 'atopic condition'.

The indications of this condition can get activated by various peripheral aspects like:

- Climatic conditions, like chilly atmosphere could cause asthma.
- Emotional aspects, like anxiety, pressure or even expressing amusement can cause asthma.
- Infections in the respiratory tract that is the chest and the airways. This is primarily due to viruses.
- Parasites, fungi and bacteria could also be accountable to trigger this condition in a few cases.
- Medications, medicines like the NSAIDs that is 'nonsteriod anti - inflammatory drugs' like the 'ibuprofen and aspirin' which are widely known can also lead to asthma. There is another medication called the 'beta - blockers' which is given in case of 'high blood pressure' is also known to cause asthma.
- Allergens, like dust mites, fur or feathers of animals and pollen also causes asthma.

Before an asthma attack occurs there is an indication that is something occurs biologically known as inflammation. This is one of the conditions in which the immune system aids in fighting diseases aligned with bacteria or viruses.

Symptoms:

The indications of asthma could take place without clear reasoning. The indications comprise of:

1 - Coughing, especially during the night.
2 - Breathlessness.

First comes the 'Personal Asthma Plan', here the person suffering from asthma is told everything he or she should keep in mind and told about self care, symptoms of an attack and various aspects of asthma. Then is the 'Medical Treatment - the stepwise approach', here the treatment is a step wise procedure, depending on the harshness of the condition.

There are 5 stages in this treatment; they are 'mild intermittent asthma', 'regular prevention therapy', and 'add - on therapy', 'persistent poor control and continuous or frequent use of oral steroids'.

The other treatment to treat asthma is called the 'Exercise - induced asthma', here a medication is given sometime before exercising, the pattern of exercise is altered and the condition is treated accordingly.

Parkinson's Disease - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Parkinson's disease builds up slowly, often starting with a barely visible tremor in just one hand. Even though a tremor is most commonly associated with Parkinson's disease, it normally ends up in the slowing and freezing of body movements. It is a neurological disorder that causes muscle tremor, weakness and stiffness.

The characteristic signs are; trembling, rigid posture, and slow movement. Speech also often becomes slurred and mumbled, and thus difficult to follow. The patient might have little or no expression on the face or might not even swing the arms at all while walking, and could also have an unbalanced walk. Its effects worsen as the disease progresses.

Abortion Clinic

Unfortunately there is no cure yet for this disease, although many medicines can help treat and ease the symptoms, and in some cases these treatments might entail a surgical procedure.

Causes

Parkinson's disease is caused by the degeneration of or damage to the nerve cells in the brain. Many of the symptoms of this disease are because of lack of a chemical, called dopamine, in the brain, which acts as a messenger. This happens when particular brain cells that create dopamine, deteriorate or die. But even after a lot of careful research by scientists, it still isn't still clear as to what really triggers the drop in the production of dopamine. It is believed that probably genetic transmutations and/or environmental pollutants could have a hand in leading to Parkinson's disease.

Symptoms

Parkinson's disease has different symptomatic effects from person to person. These symptoms, at the advent of the disease, may be slight and can be unseen for months or even years. These signs usually start on one side of the body and generally remain the worst on that side of the body itself. Parkinson's signs and symptoms may consist of the following:

1- A person might keep shaking, which come across as tremors, which usually start off in a hand. These tremors tend to spread to the entire arm, or just to the neck region, when the head shakes continuously, or also the legs, when the gait of the person completely changes, making it unbalanced and awkward.

2- A person might move extremely slowly, compared to the normal speed of movement. The ability to make voluntary movement could diminish. This could make life's tasks and jobs time consuming and complicated. The steps taken during a walk might become short and the feet might scuff. The feet may also freeze up, making it very tough to take a step.

3- The muscles could get rigid and stiff, in the limbs and also the neck. This rigidity could be very severe amounting to a lot of pain, further limiting any kind of movements.

4- Posture may become stooped and an imbalance in standing or walking or even sitting postures can also be seen in the latter stages of the disease.

5- Involuntary automatic movements such as blinking, smiling, moving arms while walking, and other unconscious movements etc., are slowly lost. Some people may stare in a fixative manner, with expressionless faces and eyes that don't blink. Some may not gesture and may seem lifeless.

6- There are marked changes in speech delivery, making it very soft and even inaudible, or fast and/or in monotone, even repeating words, or dragging them, or hesitation before speaking.

7-Later on as the disease progresses, some people start having problems with memory and clarity of thoughts.

Treatments

Various treatments for example, medications such as levodopa, Dopamine agonists, MAO B inhibitors, Catechol O-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitors, etc. are administered to either create dopamine, or something dopamine-like, or help in its natural generation and preserve the existing dopamine secreted. Some drugs also reduce tremors in the body parts and also calm the mind.

Physical therapy also helps for general good health and better mobility. Some surgeries might also be done such as Deep brain stimulation, which is most common in order to treat the disease. It entails inserting an electrode deep within the parts of the brain that control motor-movements. It is used for patients at an advanced stage of the disease. This kind of treatment has a lot of risks involved, as it is intrusive and uses the implanting of foreign objects, so the patient's guardians and if possible the patient, must think rationally before opting for this treatment.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Chronic fatigue syndrome is considered to be a disease which was 1st named in 1980's. Till now, as maximum numbers of individuals have been diagnosed with the CFS, numerous individuals outside and inside health field still have doubt regarding its presence or preserve that it is psychological ailment. Individuals who were healthy in the past and were filled with energy, might have to go through different types of symptoms, which are inclusive of weakness, headaches and superior fatigue and face problem while concentration and painful muscles, lymph nodes and painful muscles. Characteristically CFS follows the viral infection and at times is found after the mononucleosis infections.

No specific symptoms of tiredness, aches, fatigue and exhaustion make CFS critical to diagnose as well as similar to the other conditions like lyme disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia. Individuals with Chronic fatigue syndrome are frequently unable to execute normally at their home as well as work due to their enduring fatigue and the problems with interim memory. The stamped symptoms of Chronic fatigue syndrome are over powering weakness and fatigue which makes it highly critical to perform daily routine and tasks, such as dressing, eating and getting up from bed. This illness could seriously affect work, leisure activities, school and can cause emotional and physical symptoms which could last for weeks or months or years.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome's causes:

Few of the CFD's common causes are alterations in the hormones levels that are generated in the pituitary glands, adrenal glands or hypothalamus.

- Low blood sugar - Hypoglycemia
- Iron deficiency anemia
- Viral infection like human herpes virus or Epstein - Barr virus
- Low blood pressure
- Dysfunction in immune system
- History of allergies

CFD's symptoms are:
- Headache
- Persistent fatigue
- Muscle aches
- Fatigue from effort
- Fatigue
- Not able to concentrate
- Tiredness
- Painful lymph nodes

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome's treatment:
- Altering the daily routine in order to have normal sleep patterns could help
- Treatment to cure anxiety by making use of anti - anxiety drugs

Without a prescription painkillers could support to ease joint and muscle pain as well as for headaches. Powerful painkillers could even be recommended by the GP, even though these have to be used for a short period. Antidepressants could be used by the individuals having depression with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Treatments To Decline Discomfort, Fever And Pain Pacing is considered to be a significant way if you want to control the symptoms. It actually means searching a balance amongst the rest and activity and ignoring huge bursts of the exercise which might hold you back. Learning the concept, like in which way your energy could be used to the fullest and could surely support you to maximise the amount that you could do.

CBT (full form is Cognitive behavioural therapy) might identify the feelings and thoughts which are resulting in certain behaviour as well as you generate fresh coping ways. This is considered to be the most strong and powerful medications for chronic fatigue syndrome.

Asperger Syndrome: Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

The Asperger's Syndrome was named after a Viennese pediatrician, Hans Asperger. In 1944, he explained the reason behind inefficiency in social behavior but normal intelligence in his male patients. This is a neurological disorder in which the person suffering shows a number of typical characteristics like odd patterns in speech, obsessions, poor coordination, inefficiency in social interaction and several other peculiar behaviors. The children who suffer from this disorder find it difficult to differentiate the various body languages and are able to show only a few facial expressions. They may be obsessive about their routines and may be unusually sensitive to some sensory stimuli.

It was noted by Asperger that though the males suffering from this condition show normal language development and intelligence, they find it hard to effectively communicate their ideas. They may have problems with paying attention for longer spans and they are also known to have a behavior that others find odd or eccentric. These conditions do not go away with age and an adult who has this condition shows the same symptoms. However, despite Asperger's Syndrome being a lifetime condition, if it is diagnosed at an early stage and proper services are provided, there is a chance that the symptoms may reduce with time.

Abortion Clinic

Causes: Though there is no specific cause known for the condition, it is generally suggested that it is genetic, possibly running through generations in a family. Also, it is thought that some fetal development problems might cause this condition considering the differences in structure and function of specific parts of the brain. Some researches showed that the condition might be associated with depression, bipolar disorder and other mental disorders. There is a wrong idea that the condition is caused due to bad parenting. However, Asperger's syndrome is a neurological disorder and does not depend on the upbringing of the child.

Symptoms: In most cases, Asperger's syndrome is diagnosed in children in the age of 5-9 years. It might be difficult to differentiate the symptoms from troubles in behavior and this is why they can be evaluated only by professionals in many cases. The diagnosis of this condition is often confused with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.

Treatment: There is neither a cure not an effective medical treatment for Asperger's Syndrome. There can be treatment for some symptoms like depression which are associated with the condition. The main treatment for this condition is training as in the case of Autism. Training for modification in behavior and social skills has found to be effective. Training may also be provided for decision making, problem solving and other skills.

The condition does not mean that a person suffering from it will not be able to succeed socially and academically. In fact, there are many people suffering from the Asperger's syndrome who believe that this condition is more of a "difference" and not a "disorder". There are people with this condition who are leading a full and happy life through proper education and support.

Bacterial Vaginosis - Causes, Symptoms, and Treatments

What is bacterial vaginosis?

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the most general cause of vaginal infection known as vaginitis. Normally it is not considered to be a 'sexually transmitted infection'. It is the imbalance of naturally happening bacterial flora that causes bacterial vaginosis.

Abortion Clinic

What are the symptoms and signs?

The most common sign is an unusual vaginal discharge especially after having sex which has an unpleasant fishy smell. Some women don't experience any symptoms, while many other experience intense swelling, itching and irritation (often misdiagnosed by patient or even health practitioner as yeast infection), also stomach pains, which feels like severe cramps. By contrast, a normal discharge should be odourless and vary in amount and consistency with the menstrual cycle.

The causes?

Normally, a healthy vagina should contain many microorganisms; Lactobacillus crispate and Lactobacillus jensenii are the common ones. The microorganisms involved in bacterial vaginosis are very diverse. Reduction of lactobacillus and any other changes in normal bacterial flora, due to use of antibiotics or pH imbalance or other reasons, lets the more resistant bacteria to multiply and gain foothold.

There are a variety of causes for bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is more common in sexually active women aging 15 to 44 especially after changing in to new partner.

Although bacterial vaginosis might be related to sexual activity, there is no strong evidence of sexual transmission. But virgins can get infected with bacterial vaginosis.

Women with sexually transmitted infections and pregnant women are more at risk. Sometimes Bacterial vaginosis affects women after menopause. A study has shown subclinical anemia the iron shortage is a strong cause of bacterial vaginosis in pregnant women. Also it's proven there is a link between bacterial vaginosis and psychosocial stress.

There is a theory mentioning that sexual exchange of vaginal secretions in sex between women is a possible mechanism for acquisition.

In young girls, strep or bacteria from the anus due to none hygiene wiping after bowel movement may cause bacterial vaginosis.

What are the treatments?

Since the disease is caused by bacteria therefore treatment for bacterial vaginosis is using antibiotics. Not many antibiotics are used routinely. Metronidazole (Flagyl) is a very affective antibiotic which is taken either by oral (pill) or by vaginal metronidazole gel (Metrogel). The vaginal clindamycin cream (Cleocin) is also available.

The oral metronidazole is believed to be the best and most effective treatment but may cause minor and unpleasant side effects. Typically the gel does not cause side effect, but yeast vaginitis can happen as a side effect of the medication.

If you are looking for an antibiotic with fewer side effects then tinidazole is the one, an antibiotic that appears to have lesser side effects compared with metronidazole and is effective in bacterial vaginosis treatment.

There is the possibility of bacterial vaginosis Recurrence even after a successful treatment. Recurrence happens in more than half of the treated patients within 12 months. The reason is unclear. Due to appearance of recurrent symptoms, second course of antibiotic treatment is recommended.

Genital Warts (HPV) - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

What Causes Genital Warts?

Genital warts are caused by various types of HPV (human Papilloma virus) and can appear on the skin anyplace in the genital part as a white or flesh colored, smooth, small bumps, or fleshy, larger, cauliflower like lumps. More than 100 different subtypes of HPV are recognized and about 30 of them in particular affect the genitals.

Abortion Clinic

What Are The Most Common Symptoms?

When the symptoms appear the patient will see pinkish/white little lumps or bigger cauliflower shaped lumps on the genital area. Warts appear around or on the penis, the scrotum, the anus or the thighs. Warts In women develop around inside the vagina or vulva and on the cervix. Having warts on cervix may cause minor bleeding or in rare occasions an unusual colored discharge from vagina.

Warts may happen singly or in groups. They may itch but are usually painless. Sometimes they are difficult to be spotted. In severe cases, they may spread from the genitals the anus area, even without an anal intercourse.

Any suspicion about lumps and bumps on the genitals usually can be resolved by a quick visit to a doctor or sexual health clinic.

Treatment For Genital Warts

Once a person is infected, there won't be any treatment which can eliminate genital warts completely. Most of the times outbursts of genital warts become less frequent eventually, until the virus is cleared out of the body naturally.

Even after applying the treatment there is a chance of reappearance of the warts. Since Genital warts are caused by viruses, antibiotics will not affect them.

Common treatments are:

·Podophyllin resin is a brown liquid which is painted on the wart by practitioner and must be washed off after 4 hours. it may require more than one applications to work effectively.

·Podopfilox lotion/gel which the patient can apply it at home. It has some side effects but it's well-suited for home treatment.

·Cryocautery it affects by using nitrogen to freeze the persistent warts and is not suitable for children.

·Laser treatment can be expensive and is usually used for very extensive and tough to treat warts.

·Electrocautery - by using a super heat needle which is heated with electric current, the wart cells are burnt and blood vessels are cauterized. This procedure is usually carried out in a doctor's clinic only if other treatments have failed.

·Surgical excision - minor surgery is performed by the doctor under local anesthetic to remove the wart. The doctor or nurse should give the patient advice about the sexual relation whilst receiving treatment.

Non-prescription treatments are available for genital HPV, but it is advised to always seek medical advice. One must not try to treat genital warts by himself. See a doctor!

It's very important for a woman, who is pregnant or has plans to become pregnant, to inform the doctor. Podophyllin treatments could harm and disturb the developing baby and so an alternative treatment should be used instead.

Asherson's Syndrome - Causes, Symptoms, and Treatments

Asherson's syndrome is otherwise also known as catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome. It is a biological progress which is complex and results in occlusion of vessels in organs. This process was first discussed by Ronald asherson in the year 1992. Clinically this problem affects a lot of organs. Peripheral thrombosis may lead to destruction of the arteries and veins and intraabdominal thrombosis may lead to lot of pain.

There is no particular cause but at the last phase of the illness all your organs keep failing one by one and the death is also painful. Even after taking intensive care there are 50% of the cases which result in the death of the person. The reason behind this problem could also be genetic; one of the major reasons for the problem to expand is infection.

Abortion Clinic

Only doctors can help in these kind of cases and this has to be diagnosed as soon as possible, the more you delay it the more it is going to be a problem in the future and automatically it becomes impossible to cure it. The following are the treatments for catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome:

-Plasma exchange

-Intravenous immunoglobulin

-Intravenous steroids

Despite of all this you see so many people dying because of catastrophic antiphospholipid syndrome.

The symptoms can be mostly noticed in a woman especially at the time when she is pregnant or in a few weeks time after she delivers her baby. Symptoms differ from person to person as different organs fail in different people so you cannot have the same kind of symptoms for all. Within no time asherson's syndrome can cause a lot of problem and your organs will become inactive soon.

It is a disease which causes blood clot at various places and that depends on the antiphospholipid antibodies in each and every person as it varies too. Antibodies in our body are the protein substances in our body which help us to fight against the infections that are coming up. Antibodies trigger the health tissues.

In the case of asherson's syndrome the antibodies specifically attack proteins that are attached to the phospholipids, which are the fat particles and they are linked with the cell membranes which are normally active. You can find phospholipids all over your body. The direct cause of this problem has not been identified.

There are a lot of hospitals but one among the best is the department of autoimmune diseases, Spain.

At this place you can find each and every patient given special diagnosis. Their main objective is to look at the positive side not to look at the other 50% of the crowd who loses hope half the way only 19% of the people have had the problem again after it has been treatment. It is better to consult your doctor every month and have a regular check up so that if you do have the problem also it can be cured in the initial stages.

The Asherson's Syndrome is a terrible illness but there is hope.

Hypotension - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Hypotension is the name given to low blood pressure. The victim of this condition has a blood pressure lower than 90/60 mmHG.

Sometimes shock can also cause such a low pressure. So the patients should try to refrain from being a part of scary circumstances. Even consuming water and adding more salt to the diet can be beneficial. However, one should talk to a doctor about the same. Patients should also recognize their own conditions of a decreased pressure so that they can avoid seizures. It's better to relax and place the head amid knees to increase blood pressure.

Abortion Clinic

A person feels quite lightheaded most of the times due to this ailment. One should get check up from a doctor due to this dizziness. It is because low blood pressure can also cause fainting. This hypotension is also companied with other features like a lack of breath, pain in the chest and hardness in the neck. It can also produce headaches and a running fever of more than 101 degrees Celsius.

Now, there can be many causes of low pressure. It can occur due to changes in the hormonal balance of a person along with an expansion of the blood vessels. Even side effects of a certain medication can also produce such pressure. A person who is suffering from anemia can also get hypotension. This can cause blood loss, which is produced due to inadequate intake of fluids.

Weak pressure causes can be due to hormonal changes, widening of blood vessels, medicine side effects, heart & endocrine problems. So, if you have been starving yourself for a long time, you are likely to get this disease as it reduces blood pressure. Sometimes, a high utilization of diuretics can also cause a low volume of blood resulting in low pressure. Sometimes, a low performance of heart can also cause such blood pressure. Such blood pressure can also cause a cardiac shock. Even use of beta lockers can produce such hypotension because they reduce the heart rate.

So, this condition can be cured by the doctors using an integrated network of hormones, nerves and receptors. This can reduce the impact of the nervous system and increase the blood pressure. Such network of hormones, nerves and receptors is called an autonomic nervous system. It can allow the individuals to maintain a normal blood pressure during many diseases and activities which can cause it to dip down. One can cure the symptoms of this disease by indulging in activities like consuming a lot of water and reducing any intake of alcohol. One can also introduce some changes in the diet like eating smaller carbohydrate meals so that hypotension does not arise. You can also think about wearing high compression stockings so that your legs don't swell due to such reduced blood pressure. But, consult a doctor before using such stockings. He can prescribe them for you.

Metastatic Breast Cancer - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

In women, breast cancer is the common type of cancer and it is affecting one out of eight women. At any time, this cancer may develop and the risk increases with developing of cancer as the women get older. In most of the post-menopausal women, it is common and with the increase in age will increase the risk as well.

When the cancer is spread beyond the breast, then it is said to be in metastatic state. This means that cancer has traveled from breast to another part of the body. The cells of cancer will travel through blood vessels or lymphatic system.

Abortion Clinic

Causes

As of today, the breast cancer like any other forms of cancer is considered as one of the final outcomes of multiple hereditary and environmental factors. The risk of breast cancer will be increased by 70% in young people by inhaling the secondhand smoke and primarily menopausal women are affected by this.

Symptoms

So many fears are elicited by breast cancer including the ones that are related to surgery, loss of body image, death and loss of sexuality and however, if the breast caner is diagnosed earlier, then it is curable. Therefore, it always recommended doing a regular self screening of the body. Usually, the breast cancer will show thickening or lump in the breast tissues but not all the breast lumps are cancerous.

Often, the breast cancer will occur in left breast and also in the upper quadrant. Other than the lump, the indications of this cancer include skin dimpling, changes in breast shape and size, spontaneous discharge of single nipple or nipple inversion.

Treatment

In order to treat the breast cancer, controversies are still raging all over the world. The options to treat the breast cancer include chemotherapy, surgery, herceptin, hormonal therapies, radiotherapy and other complementary treatments.

Whenever the tumor is localized, surgery is the mainstay of the treatment. Some of the surgeries include the possible hormonal therapy (with aromatase inhibitor or with the tamoxifen), radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy.

MammaPrint test is the first tests that became one of the first breast cancer predicator, which won the formal approval of the USFDA. This is a new type of gene test, which will predict whether women with the early stage of cancer will replace in about 5 to 10 years. This test will help to influence on how aggressively the tumor in the initial stages can be treated.

ILT (Interstitial Laser thermotherapy) is one of the innovative methods that are used to treat the breast cancer through minimal invasive manner. This method does not involve any surgical procedures. This procedure will not have any adverse effect on health and during the intermediate follow-up; the survival rate of the patient is high.

Routine mammography of the women aged more than 40 to 50 years is very much recommended by many science institutes. By doing so, if there is cancer, then it can be detected at the earlier stages and it can be treated effectively at early stages.

Trichomoniasis - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Trichomoniasis or most commonly known as Trich and is considered to be the main cause of vaginitis. It spreads through external water sources and is also considered to be a sexually transmitted disease or STD. It is manly the infection of the urogenitical tract.

Causes:

Abortion Clinic

Motile flagellated protozoan Trichomonas vaginalis is the root cause for the infection Trichomoniasis. With this parasite, worldwide around 174 million people are affected and it is the sexually transmitted infection and making it one of curable infection in the world.

15mm is the average size of Trichomoniasis (not visible to naked eyes). This parasite's reproduction occurs every 8 t o12 hours. Of the infected female partners 67% to 100% and male partners 14% to 60% this parasite Trichomoniasis was isolated. It is unclear that more than male why females are affected more. Zinc contains are found in the fluid prostatic is one of the harmful chances to trichomonads.

Symptoms:

Men:

-Swelling in the scrotum (A pouch of skin that contains epididymides, lower portions of the spermatic cords and the testes).
-Pain while urination
-Discharge of urethral
-The majority of the males have no symptoms

Women:

-Vaginal discharge
-Itchy, smelly and typically foamy and frothy discharge
-During urination pain is possible (a sensation which is unpleasant that ranges from discomfort to agony and mild. It also has emotional and physical components)
-Itching in vagina
-Gray green or yellow discharge
-Infected females up to one third have no symptoms
-When the itching is started you have to take the medical care

Treatment: Self Care At Home

The treatment to this infection is of the choice antibiotics of the doctor. In addition some medicine therapies are available to the antibiotics. No scientific evidences support these therapies for use. Without an doctor's consult and antibiotics which is appropriate should not be used this is called home therapy (using your own medicine),by doing home therapy it would lead to many sexually transmitted diseases which are very harmful to our body like Chlamydia or gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV. To increase the parasite killing activity you can add the juice of lemon to the following douches:

-One quart of water to one quart of vinegar
-Yogurt douches
-You can also try aromatherapy which helps to reduce the irritation during urinal

Medical Treatment:

The choice of the treatment is metronidazole (flagyl) except in the first trimester of your pregnancy and also it is important to note that not to consume alcohol during the drug consumption. This treatment is very large single dose which is effective very much. Partners should take care that though your partner might not have the symptoms it is safe to have your partner is evaluated and treated or else you may be infected.

May be your partner may be given a very large dose of this treatment or will be treated of the period of seven days. Or your doctor may not give the prescription without routinely examining your partner.

-So to avoid this infection safe sex and hygiene are helpful to prevent this infection.
-Do wear condoms during sex
-Towels and swimsuits should not be shared (until 45 minutes, because trichomonads are active till 45 minutes)
-Before and after intercourse do wash
-After swimming the public pool do have a shower
